The small silver can soldered onto ESP32 and ESP8266 boards is not decoration, and most people never look beneath it.
In this clip I do exactly that: lift the shield and show what sits underneath on these tiny microcontrollers, the cheap chips that run most of my own sensor projects.
Knowing what is in there makes it easier to judge what such a board can and cannot do.
